Falcon Foam introduces do-it-yourself door insulation kit

By General Aviation News Staff · September 9, 2005 ·

Need to insulate a garage or hangar door? The new Falcon Foam Do-It-Yourself Garage Door Insulation Kit with an Energy Star label makes insulating an after-market metal door quick and easy.

A few hand tools and the kit will insulate most 8 foot and 9 foot metal doors in less than one hour using just three easy steps: measure, cut and install. The only tools needed are: safety goggles, tape measure, box cutter and straight edge.

Falcon Foam Garage Door Insulation Kits are manufactured with long lasting, high R-value EPS insulation (1-1/4 inch = 4.5 R-value @ 75°). The exposed EPS face is made of high impact polystyrene laminate.

Each kit weighs 10 pounds and contains eight panels. The panels are scored for easy, flexible installation.
