What a relief

By General Aviation News Staff · February 2, 2006 ·

Wow! Amazing!

I agree with everything you said in the Straight & Level, January 2006. It is a relief to know that I am not the only one that has those opinions.

I also agree with just about everything you have written in the past, including the Confederate flag, and I am from New Jersey, not the South.

It is very refreshing to read what somebody writes who is very up front and honest with their thoughts. If you want to “blow away the clouds of gloom,” I will walk point for you. I have plenty of combat experience from Vietnam as an officer in the Marine Corps. The stupid aftermath of Sept. 11 also affected me, as a private pilot. I was not allowed to fly out of the little rural airport at Monroe, N.C. (EQY). Now I have to drive an hour to fly out of Rock Hill, S.C. (UZA) instead of driving 15 minutes to fly out of EQY.Please keep it up. It is very interesting to read how you explain the politics and other stupid stuff that affects our flying.
