LSA SportCruiser: Now with a flight training package

By General Aviation News Staff · December 1, 2006 ·

Customers of Sport Aircraft Works, importer and distributor of Czech Aircraft Works’ S-LSA aircraft (the Mermaid amphibian, the high-wing, cantilever Parrot sport-touring machine, and the SportCruiser) are now eligible to receive 20 hours of flight training in their own airplanes, meeting the minimum requirement for a Sport Pilot license.

Training is offered at Sport Aircraft Works’ Indiantown, Florida, headquarters. Students are expected to have studied the Operating Manual and passed the Knowledge Test before pickup.

For those customers who already have a pilot’s license, the company provides two hours training and checkout in their own airplanes.

Prices for the two-seat SportCruiser, powered by a 100 hp engine, start at $74,500.
