Global Jet Services, a maintenance training provider, has launched its first online training course for maintenance technicians.
The course teaches technicians the fundamentals of pitot-static systems and how to use Barfield’s 450 pitot-static test equipment to conduct static/altimeter system tests, according to company officials. It also demonstrates how to set up test equipment based on step-by-step procedures.
Students can earn eight hours credit for Inspection Authorization recurrency and for the FAA AMT Awards training program.
Other courses planned include human factors awareness and aircraft electronics technician training.
