Comedian and impressionist Rich Little is scheduled to serve as master of ceremonies at the National Aviation Hall of Fame‘s 48th Annual Enshrinement Dinner, July 18 at the Dayton Convention Center. The late actor and Air Force Brigadier General James Stewart will be among those enshrined. He and Little were close friends.
Arnold Palmer, Nick Clooney and astronauts Neil Armstrong and Charles Precourt are scheduled to present guests at the event. Palmer will be presenting former Cessna Aircraft Co. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Russell Meyer Jr.; Clooney will present Stewart’s enshrinement to Carson Greene Jr., president of the Jimmy Stewart Museum; Armstrong will present the late Edward Higgins White II’s enshrinement; and Precourt will present astronaut Eileen Collins.
