Aviation law firm launches mediation practice

By Janice Wood · September 9, 2010 ·

Coats & Evans, PC, an aviation law firm based in The Woodlands, Texas, now offers mediation and dispute resolution services to assist in the search for negotiated resolution of aviation disputes, including aircraft accident, injury and products liability lawsuits, aviation business disputes, aviation business acquisition and dissolution negotiation, aviation insurance disputes and aviation related employment disputes.

Drew Coats, a founding shareholder in the firm, recently completed mediation training with mediation pioneer Professor Kimberlee Kovach, a distinguished lecturer in dispute resolution at South Texas College of Law and former chair of the American Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section and the State Bar of Texas ADR Section.

Coats & Evans can host mediation of aviation disputes at its offices  located at David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport (DWH) in Houston) and, using the aircraft it operates, will also mediate aviation disputes anywhere in Texas at no additional expense to the parties. Coats & Evans can also mediate aviation disputes throughout the U.S.

Coats & Evans represents clients in aviation lawsuits, aviation transactions and aviation-related administrative matters. The firm’s attorneys are all pilots and have over 13,000 combined flight hours. For more information: 281-367-7732 or AviationMediators.com.
