Belfort Instrument Co. has installed its DigiWxTM Automated Weather Observation system (AWOS) at the Princeton Airport (39N), in Princeton, N.J.
The AWOS installation at the Princeton Airport is the first under a New Jersey Department of Transportion (NJDOT) contract for the installation of 15 Belfort DigiWx automated weather stations throughout the state.
The AWOS AV provides real-time wind speed, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity, dewpoint and altimeter setting and visibility information on a graphical display in the FBO office, over the airport’s Unicom radio, via dial-in telephone, and on the Internet.
