Small airports often make big business possible. That was the message delivered by Victor Bird, director of the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission, at the Norman Chamber of Commerce’s annual Aviation Breakfast, held inside the OU hangar at Max Westheimer Airport, according to a report at NewsOK.com. During his talk, he compared general aviation to “the largest airline in the world,” bigger than Delta and American Airlines combined.
