President George W. Bush featured speaker at Veterans Day Tribute

By Janice Wood · November 3, 2010 ·

President George W. Bush will speak during a Veterans Day Tribute at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 11 at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio.

The event will coincide with the release of his memoir, “Decision Points,” by Crown Publishers on Nov. 9. During the event at the museum, Bush will honor all veterans, highlighting key points in his book that involve the U.S. military.

Tickets for the event are free and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. For security purposes, social security numbers and dates of birth are required for U.S. citizens attending the event, and non-U.S. citizens must provide valid passport numbers, places and dates of birth. In addition, a government-issued photo ID is required for the person picking up the tickets. Additional information about the event will be provided to attendees as they pick up their tickets.

Those who attend the event have the unique opportunity to pre-purchase no more than two autographed copies of Decision Points, which describes the critical decisions of Bush’s presidency and personal life. The cost of the book is $37.45 (including tax). Purchases may be made with cash, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa only. Pre-purchased books will be available for pick up at the tribute. Unsigned books will be sold in the museum store while supplies last.
