Cessna Aircraft Co. will unveil the next generation of the Corvalis high-performance single-engine piston at this year’s Sun ‘n Fun International Fly-In & Expo in Lakeland, Fla.

Details of the program will be released at a briefing at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, at Cessna’s static display on the Sun ‘n Fun campus at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport. A mock-up of the new product will be on display alongside a 162 Skycatcher, 172 Skyhawk SP, 182 Skylane, 206 Turbo Stationair, a Grand Caravan and two business jets: the Citation Mustang and Citation CJ4.

The current production Corvalis TT is the world’s fastest fixed-gear single-engine piston aircraft with a top speed of 235 knots (435 km/hr) and a service ceiling of 25,000 feet (6,620 m).
