The Minden-Tahoe Airport (MEV) in Nevada will host the first annual Aviation Roundup Aug. 27-28, with this year’s event a benefit for Amanda and Kyle Franklin. All profits will be donated to the Kyle and Amanda Fund through the ICAS Foundation. ICAS members Bobbi Thompson, Wayne Boggs and Bruce Turner will team to lead the benefit show, which will include an air show, a fly-in and convention for pilots, manufacturers, and distributors of aircraft and aircraft components. The event is open to pilots and the community and will provide great family entertainment, organizers promise.
The main airport ramp will be available for tents and booths for vendors. Space will be available for seminars and classes for pilots and customers. As a courtesy, the Minden-Tahoe Airport will not charge for the vendor spaces for the event.
