ROMEOVILLE, Ill. — An exploration of career possibilities will take place during the annual Aviation Career Conference at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 21 in the Harold White Aviation Center located on Lewis University’s main campus. This free conference is designed for anyone interested in a career in aviation.
Informational sessions include various careers of interest, such as airport management, FAA administration, unmanned aircraft systems, aviation maintenance technicians, tower air traffic control, radar air traffic control, aircraft dispatch, commercial airline pilot, regional pilot corporate pilot, military aviation and logistics and transportation.
If weather permits, Republic Airway will have tours of a regional jet, Envoy Airline will have tours of an Embraer 145 regional aircraft, and CHE Helicopter will fly in an EC 135 helicopter for a static display.
Lewis University, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, Envoy Airline, Boeing International, Chicago Department of Aviation, FAA, Chicago Air Traffic Control, Federal Express Airline,s and Southwest Airlines are hosting this opportunity to learn first-hand from real world aviation professionals.
