New Remote Pilot Airman Certification Standards now available

The FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS) Remote Pilot: Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems is now available from ASA in print format.

ASA remote pilotThe ACS details the knowledge and risk management elements for what an applicant must know and consider to earn a Remote Pilot certificate and fly an small unmanned aerial system — also known as a drone —  in commercial operations under 14 CFR Part 107.

The ACS provides guidance and references to FAA documentation and resources where applicants can find the information they need to prepare for the FAA Knowledge Exam as well as to operate safely and successfully in the National Airspace System.

 

The softcover book is $5.95, while the PDF is free.
