Pictures of the day: Flying with family

Frequent contributor Rafael Cortes sent in these photos taken by his mother while flying last weekend “just for fun.”

The pictures are of El Morro Fort in Old San Juan, and the final approach for the Isla Grande Airport (TJIG) in Puerto Rico.

“Flying with family and seeing these views are some of the most rewarding things of becoming a pilot,” he notes.

  1. Such beautiful pictures, you need to take pictures of the island for all kinds of reasons. This way you can attract more people to come Puerto Rico. All Caribbeans should take photos everywhere. You have heaven on earth.
