The winners of the annual photo contest sponsored by the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Office of Aviation have been revealed.
Since 2004, thousands of photo entries have captured aviation activities associated with Iowa. This year the results include 90 award-winning photos.
As the popularity of video continues to grow, a video category was also added for 2016 and five winning videos were also selected.
Winners receive a custom framed certificate and their photos are featured on the department’s website and used for efforts that promote aviation in Iowa.
