GA airplane sales post double-digit increases

Aircraft sales continue their upward trend, according to the latest report from the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA).

The First Quarter 2025 General Aviation Aircraft Shipment and Billing Report shows increased shipments across all sectors and an increase in the overall value of aircraft shipments, when compared to 2024.

Airplane shipments through the first quarter of 2025, when compared to the same period in 2024, saw piston airplanes increase 19.3% with 353 deliveries, turboprops increase 23.1% with 133, and business jets increase 11% with 141.

The value of airplane deliveries through the first quarter of 2025 was $5.04 billion, an increase of 25.7%.

Helicopter shipments through the first quarter of 2025, when compared to the same period in 2024, saw piston helicopters increase 1.9% with 54 and turbine helicopter increase 1.5% with 133.

The value of helicopter deliveries was $770 million.
