The grand prize is a $30,000 credit with Lycon Aircraft toward a new or rebuilt Continental or Lycoming engine or, if you prefer, you can take $20,000 cash.

Four additional prizes will also be awarded:

  • A Garmin D2 Mach1 Aviator Smart Watch (value $1,199)
  • A Garmin aera 660 (Value $899)
  • An Apple iPad Mini (Value $499)
  • A BrightLine B4 Flight Bag (Value $234)

Tickets are one for $50, three for $135, five for $210, or 10 for $400. Only 2,500 will be sold.

To make a purchase, go to SwiftRaffle.com. If you’d rather purchase tickets by phone, call the Swift Museum Foundation at 423-745-9547.

The Swift Museum Foundation is the type club for the Globe Swift aircraft, and the raffle is its sole annual fundraiser. Proceeds support operating expense and parts acquisition to keep these vintage gems in the air.

This is a great opportunity to win some cool prizes and support a worthy organization.
I was present a few years ago when a young man claimed the first prize to help him purchase a new engine for his T-35 project. Last year a gent took the $20K cash, and is putting that to good use. Who couldn’t use $20K?
