Burlington School District in Vermont has officially opened its new Aviation, Career, and Technical Education Center at Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport (KBTV).
The $12 million project renovated a nearly decrepit hangar at the airport, according to school district officials.
Made possible through a $10 million grant secured by then-Senator Patrick Leahy, the school district completed the renovation under budget, officials added.
The new facility will prepare students for high-demand jobs in aviation, engineering, and other technical industries across Vermont.
Besides the aviation program, the new facility will house the school’s automotive, design engineering, and manufacturing programs.

Looks to be a great investment and great program! It seems especially fitting given Beta’s growth and positioning.
