Iowa kicks off transportation photo contest

The Iowa Department of Transportation has kicked off its 2025-2026 photo contest.

The Transportation in Iowa Photo Contest includes all modes of transportation, but aviation is at the top of the list.

Photographers can submit up to 20 digital photos for consideration. Photos must be submitted by Feb. 2, 2026.

According to state officials, the photos will be used to promote transportation in Iowa.
