McFarlane Aviation acquires South Seas Ventures FAA-PMA product line

By General Aviation News Staff · December 10, 2025 · Leave a Comment

McFarlane Aviation, a manufacturer and distributor of FAA-PMA aviation components, has acquired South Seas Ventures’ FAA-PMA product line.

The acquisition expands McFarlane’s reach across the general aviation market and reinforces its ability to provide parts for legacy aircraft , especially Beechcraft Bonanzas and Barons, according to company officials.

The product line covers a selection of airframe replacement parts — from landing gear and door or step components to flight control and engine control hardware — along with associated items such as bolts, bushings, bearings, rod ends, steps, door handles, and an assortment of clips, springs, clamps, and rings, company officials added.

“As the general aviation fleet matures, the continued availability and support of legacy platforms remain a vital priority,” said Mike Polanis, President. “Bringing the South Seas Ventures FAA-PMA product line into our system ensures these essential products remain available for years to come.”

McFarlane plans “a seamless integration of the South Seas inventory into its existing distribution operations, with no interruption in customer access,” company officials noted.
