ASA Releases 2027 FAR/AIM Series

By General Aviation News Staff · July 31, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Aviation Supplies & Academics (ASA) has released the 2027 FAR/AIM Series, which contains Federal Aviation Regulations for pilots, flight crew, and aviation mechanics.

The ASA FAR/AIM, FAR-FC, and FAR-AMT are designed for ease of use, with an index to find topics faster, tabs printed in page margins for access to specific sections, all changes since the last edition clearly identified, and a summary of major FAR changes since the previous edition was published, ASA officials noted.

Regulation updates and procedural changes are monitored by ASA and posted at ASA2Fly.com/FARUpdate. These updates are provided at no additional cost, and readers can sign up for ASA’s email update service to receive notification when a rule has changed. This free subscription service keeps readers aware of FAA changes throughout the year, ASA officials said.

The 2027 FAR/AIM cover features a Maule M-9 flying over Florida’s St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge piloted by the late Ray Maule, son of Maule Air founder B.D. Maule and father of Brent Maule, Maule Air’s current president. A US Army veteran, Ray Maule flew for more than 70 years as a pilot and flight instructor.

The FAR/AIM is available in softcover and as an ebook for $29.95, the FAR-AMT for $34.95, and the FAR-FC for $24.95.
