Blue Air Training Opens Base at Sebring Regional Airport

By General Aviation News Staff · October 28, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Blue Air Training Corp. has launched operations at Sebring Regional Airport (KSEF) in Florida, establishing a new base to support Close Air Support training missions at the nearby Avon Park Air Force Range.

Initial flight operations at the airfield include two A-90 Raiders, a Pilatus PC-9, and a Bell 206 utility helicopter, according to company officials. Two OV-10D Broncos are scheduled to join the fleet, bringing the total Sebring-based fleet to six aircraft.

Company officials cited available commercial hangar space, airfield amenities, on-site jet fuel services, and direct access to the Avon Park Air Force Range as key factors in choosing the location. Blue Air Training is also exploring options to occupy a second commercial hangar at the facility to accommodate future growth, according to company officials.
