A Colorado mom, Richelle McKim, has started a program that gives homeschooled teenagers the ability to obtain their private and commercial pilot’s certificates by the time they graduate from high school.

After landing we inspected the inside of the engine cowl to find a wrench lodged. A more thorough preflight by my student may have found the wrench.
