STC granted for retractable sensor mount for special mission aircraft
The STC has been approved for the Kodiak 100 and will be amended to certify on other aircraft as needed, according to officials with Fargo Jet Center.

25 years of fly-in success

Study shows normal lead levels in soil at airport that banned sale of 100LL
A story in the San Jose Mercury News reports that a study commissioned by Santa Clara County found that soil samples taken at Reid-Hillview Airport (KRHV) in San Jose, California, did not contain lead levels that exceed local, state, or federal standards. KRHV is one of two airports in the county that banned the sale of 100LL based on a previous lead study.
New Thrush Aircraft model certified
The new models combine the company’s 500-gallon airframe with additional engine options from Pratt and Whitney. The 510P2 is powered by the PT6-34AG engine, while the 510P2+ is powered by the PT6-140AG engine.
