I start short bursts on downwind, then on base, and while on final, do short bursts, so other planes see me. We have many aerial applicators using our airport. They say it gets their attention. I get comments from other pilots, ‘is there something wrong with the engine? It is smoking very heavy.”
Tax break in the works for Iowa airplane owners
A new law will exempt aircraft parts and labor from sales taxes. It’s estimated Iowa airplane owners could save up to $10 million.
