John Schmidt submitted this photo and note: “Walked by the taxiway, at the close of a mid-October day’s sunlight, and noticed the orange against the setting sun and sky. Couldn’t help but try to preserve the view. Faribault, Minnesota (KFBL) airport, just south of the Twin Cities metro area, is the new home of SteinAir, the specialist in experimental (and certified) aircraft panels and avionics. Faribault Airport is also recovering from a tornado that went through in September 2018, which took out a number of airplanes and hangars.”

Gerald Griggs submitted these photos and a note: “Living on a residential grass runway, I decided to pull my Aeronca K out of the hangar and move it to the front yard as Christmas decoration. I tied the airplane down securely then applied decorations to the yard, including lights for the airplane. A few days later, right on schedule, came a beautiful snow creating this wonderful photo opportunity. Merry Christmas to all.”
