A pilot hiring career expo will be held Feb. 9, with more than 100 exhibitors, including major airlines, meeting with job seekers to discuss career opportunities in the aviation industry, according to officials with NGPA.

Much to my surprise, a B-17 and a Bf-109 were on the ramp, staged for an air show at the nearby Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, home of the Spruce Goose, in McMinnville. I found this delightful view of my modest mount from the shadow of the bomber, and reflected on the airmen of World War II who were my boyhood heroes, and moved me to 25 years of flying at FedEx.”
