NASA has created a partnership with The Longbow Group to begin the first steps toward establishing beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) flight-corridors for unmanned aerial system (UAS) flight tests in Hampton Roads, Virginia. The ultimate goal: Use drones to test flight corridors for larger Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) vehicles.

Web version of aviation communication sim launches

Since its release in 2019, the ARSim aviation radio simulator app has been downloaded more than 150,000 times. Now the company has released a web-based version of the sim, which will be more accessible for flight schools and other training institutions, according to company officials.

The preowned aircraft market in April 2021 had double the deals of a year ago, when the COVID-19 pandemic effectively shut down the world. Members of the International Aircraft Dealers Association closed 106 deals in April 2021, compared to just 53 in April 2020.
