Back via Talkeetna, Whitehorse, and Hood River. Seen here at Akshiok International Airport. 6,000 miles, a lot of weather, 7.5 gph average, a leaking nose strut. Second time doing it. 19-year-old makes it halfway around world
Zara Rutherford has reached the half-way point in her attempt to fly around the world. Weather and mechanical issues have delayed the flight, but she has made it halfway with her Sept. 29 arrival in Alaska.

Bearhawk Aircraft officials report the successful operations of a Bearhawk 4-Place aircraft on wheels, floats, and skis, which the company is calling a “triphibious” airplane.
