Maurice Hunter “Pappy” Spinks, a legendary aerobatic flight competitor, organizer, and aircraft designer, will be posthumously inducted into the International Aerobatic Club Hall of Fame.

I am the Indiana State Liaison for the Recreational Aviation Foundation. We just concluded our biennial conference at Waukesha, Wisconsin, which included a fly-out to Pioneer Field to meet with Jack Pelton, CEO of the EAA, have lunch, and tour their new education and conference center. There were 22 aircraft in all. It was a great thrill to land at Pioneer Field!”

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022 is over, and as the last prop wash wafts across the matted acres of now-empty grass parking spaces at Wittman Regional Airport (KOSH) in Wisconsin, early figures show that 650,000 visitors descended upon the Experimental Aircraft Association grounds during the week of July 25-31.
