Nominations must be submitted by Nov. 18, 2022. The awards will be presented during Oklahoma Women in Aviation and Aerospace Day Dec. 9.

Girls in Aviation Day 2022 inspires more than 16,000 around the globe
Girls between the ages of 8 and 17 participated in more than 120 events hosted by WAI chapters and corporate members. The events took place at airports, FBOs, museums, and hangars in 19 countries across the U.S., Canada, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Grants fuel Girls in Aviation Day activities
The eighth annual Girls in Aviation Day will be held Sept. 24, 2022, with events planned by Women in Aviation chapters around the world.

Girls in Aviation Day gets $1 million boost
The grant from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation will “multiply the reach of our Girls in Aviation Day program to inspire countless youth to pursue a never-before-considered future in aviation, aerospace, and STEM,” said Women in Aviation CEO Allison McKay.
