This year’s Copperstate Regional EAA Fly-in will be held Oct. 6 through 9, 2005, at a new site, Casa Grande Municipal Airport (CGZ), located midway between Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz. Previously held at Phoenix Regional Airport, Copperstate is the largest EAA fly-in in the Southwest, attracting as many as 10,000 people. CGZ is also home to the annual Cactus Fly-In, sponsored by the Arizona Antique Aircraft Association every March.
