Western Michigan University’s College of Aviation, located in Battle Creek, Mich., will replace its entire fleet of Cessna 172s with SR20s and SR22s from Cirrus Design Corp. As part of a 10-year lease agreement, WMU will eventually take delivery of at least 130 Cirrus aircraft, with the first 30 introduced during a phase-in process beginning this month.
