ASL CamGuard is an advanced oil supplement designed to address the complex interrelated problems of piston aircraft engines, such as corrosion, wear, deposit formation and oil seal degradation.
CamGuard’s FAA approval is the culmination of years of testing and thousands of flight hours of experience. The final certification test, a grueling 500 hours in an aerobatic aircraft, proved CamGuard to be even more effective than previously believed, said Greg Merrell, president of Aircraft Specialties Lubricants (ASL), makers of CamGuard.
CamGuard has been on the market for a short while marketed only to experimental aircraft operators, but is now available for use by most of the general aviation piston engines.
