Sherwood Aircraft new Husky dealer

By Janice Wood · May 10, 2010 ·

Sherwood Aircraft has launched, with offices at Farmingdale Airport (FRG) and Duchess County Airport (POU) in New York focusing on Aviat Husky sales and service. John Palmer has been appointed director of sales and will be handling Husky demo flights, brokered sales, and aircraft appraisals.

Sherwood Aircraft will conduct Husky sales in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. “Given the incredibly wide range of mission profiles for which the Husky is suited, we anticipate an active sales program in the tri-state area,” said Gene Sherwood, owner. “I can’t think of another aircraft that can engage in as many practical or recreational activities as the Husky. We will be able to offer financing to qualified buyers.”

The Husky, available with 160, 180, and 200 horsepower models, have two seats, STOL performance, a 2,200-lb gross weight capacity and a cruising range of 55 to 140 mph. For more information: SherwoodAircraft.com or 631-694-6156 or AviatAircraft.com.
