Buy a WACO, benefit Young Eagles

By Janice Wood · June 22, 2010 ·

WACO Classic Aircraft will make a donation of $5,000 to the EAA Young Eagles program for every new WACO YMF-5 D Model sold between now and Dec. 31, 2010.

The EAA Young Eagles program was launched in 1992 to give interested young people, ages 8-17, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers and supporters, and companies like WACO Classic Aircraft. This donation will help the Young Eagles program provide real life adventures for children, and introduce them to the wonders of flight. Since its inception, more than 1.5 million Young Eagles have enjoyed a flight through the program. Young Eagles have been registered in more than 90 different countries and have been flown by more than 42,000 volunteer pilots.
