By Janice Wood · September 9, 2010 ·

Banyan Air Service at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) will host King Air Day on Friday, Oct. 29 for owners of King Airs to learn more about avionics, PT-6 engines, winglets, and other upgrades.

Seminars include cabin networking and communications, Raisbeck modifications, Garmin upgrades, Blackhawk Engine upgrades, and BLR’s Super King Air Winglet System.

In addition to seminars, tours of the Banyan facility will be provided, as well as breakfast and lunch. The event starts at 8 a.m. and registration is highly suggested, according to company officials. For a detailed agenda, or to register: BanyanAir.com/KingAirDay.

Banyan Air Service is a Hawker Beechcraft factory authorized parts and service center and specializes in King Air inspections and modifications. Banyan’s aircraft maintenance department is both an FAA and EASA approved repair station, and holds Venezuela, Argentina, and Brazilian government maintenance approvals. Banyan caters to domestic and international aircraft owners, corporations and governmental agencies. In addition to King Air maintenance, Banyan offers avionics upgrades, 24-hour FBO services, aircraft management and sales, Hangar63 (Banyan’s Aviation Store) and Jet Runway Café.
