The Sporty’s Foundation, in conjunction with the Aircraft Electronics Association, will offer two $3,500 scholarships to AEA member technicians to be used toward a Recreational Pilot Certificate. Administered through the AEA Educational Foundation, the purpose of these scholarships is to give avionics technicians a greater insight into their work by being able to not just work on avionics, but to actually fly with them as a certificated pilot.
