FlightSafety’s Pilatus sim receives FAA nod

By General Aviation News Staff · August 15, 2014 ·

FlightSafety International’s new Pilatus PC-12/47 simulator has been qualified to Level D by the FAA. This simulator is the only FAA Level D qualified simulator for the Pilatus PC-12/47 available worldwide.

Training using this new simulator is scheduled to begin at FlightSafety’s Learning Center in Dallas, Texas. Pilatus selected FlightSafety as its factory-authorized training provider for the new Pilatus PC-24 aircraft in 2013. FlightSafety plans to offer training for the PC-24 in Dallas following installation and qualification of the simulator.

The PC-12/47 simulator is equipped with a Garmin GMX 200 Multi-Function Display and 2 Garmin GNS 530W GPS units. It also features a Bendix King by Honeywell EFIS 50 and KFC 325 Autoflight Control System.
