Nominations open for the 2015 Wichita Aero Club Trophy

By General Aviation News Staff · September 20, 2014 ·

Nominations are now being accepted for the Wichita Aero Club Trophy. The trophy is presented annually to an individual, group, or organization with ties to the local aviation community whose exemplary achievements and contributions in the field of aviation or aerospace deserve special recognition.

TrophyLast year, it was presented to Russ Meyer, Chairman Emeritus of Cessna Aircraft Company, for his dedication to the Wichita community.

Club officials are asking the aviation community to nominate another person, group or organization that you believe has demonstrated exemplary achievements in the field of aviation or aerospace. The process is easy and should only take about 10 minutes to complete. Click here to download a nomination form. Nominations are due by Oct. 10.

The recipient will be announced in October at the 2014 National Business Aviation Association Annual Meeting & Convention and the trophy will be presented at the Wichita Aero Club annual gala on Jan. 24, 2015.
