Sheltair Aviation has acquired Landmark Aviation at Ocala International Airport (KOCF) in Florida. This is the 16th FBO in the Sheltair network and expands its aviation-related properties to 22 airports in North America.
As part of the lease agreement with the city of Ocala, Sheltair will participate in funding the construction of a new terminal that will be the new home for Sheltair’s FBO, rental car agencies, a restaurant and airline charter check-in and waiting areas.
Sheltair will operate from the existing FBO terminal until the new terminal is completed, which is expected to occur in the fourth quarter of 2016, according to company officials. The new development plans also include the construction of approximately 10,000 square feet of new hangar and office space.
