MEXICO, Missouri — Zenith Aircraft will hold its annual Open Hangar Day Sept. 19.
On Friday, Sept. 18, those who fly or drive into the Zenith factory at Mexico Memorial Airport (KMYJ) will have the chance to attend engine and avionics workshops and seminars, a STOL competition and the Zenith banquet, featuring special guests and door prizes.
Saturday, Sept. 19, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., will host Zenith flyers, owners, builders, and enthusiasts, with more workshops, fun and informal hangar flying, a BBQ lunch, and more.
“We love it when our builders and fliers visit, and at our seminars and gatherings, we have a good chance to learn, share, and have fun,” said Sebastien Heintz, president of Zenith Aircraft. “Open Hangar Day, which we have celebrated every year since we opened this factory in 1992, is our biggest event, a great place to meet other builders and pilots, learn and have fun.”
