In her latest post, GlobalAir.com blogger Sarina Houston enumerates several things you can do to minimize your anxiety and maximize your chances of doing well on your check ride, including: Take a mock check ride; get the gouge; read through the PTS; and, finally, remind your self that the worst thing that can happen isn’t really all that bad.
How about you? Any tips you can offer pilots facing a check ride?
Everything mentioned is correct.
Just remember not to rush yourself. Whether it is for the check ride or trying to maintain a certain self imposed schedule.
“Don’t Rush”. You are the PIC and you are there just to show and prove you can fly the aircraft safely within the parameters set down in the PTS. Have a good time with it and good luck.
