The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Air Safety Institute (ASI) has released the 2016 schedule for 45 in-person seminars across the country.
The new seminars focus on how to keep abnormal situations from becoming full-blown emergencies, offer advice on keeping critical problems under control, and give advice on off-airport landings.
“AOPA’s Air Safety Institute meets in-person with around 25,000 pilots each year and these seminars are a great way for aviators to interact with others in their community, stay current, and learn strategies to keep flying safe,” said George Perry, ASI Senior Vice President.
The ASI’s safety seminars qualify for credit with the FAA WINGS program, as well as AOPA’s Accident Forgiveness and Deductible Enhancement for policyholders of Chartis Aerospace, USAIG, Phoenix Aviation Managers and Starr Aviation.
