Western Aircraft named Textron authorized service facility

By General Aviation News Staff · September 26, 2016 ·

BOISE, Idaho – Western Aircraft has been designated an authorized service facility for several models across the Beechcraft and Cessna platforms.

The Channel Partner Agreement signed between the Western Aircraft and Textron Aviation authorizes Western Aircraft to perform maintenance, service and support for King Air 90 Series, King Air 200/250 Series, King Air 300/350 Series and Bonanza/Baron Series aircraft.

The agreement also names Western Aircraft as a Cessna Aircraft Propeller Service Station for single engine propeller equipped aircraft and Cessna Caravan 208 models.

“We have been providing MRO services and parts sales for these product lines for decades,” said Western Aircraft’s Vice President and General Manager Austin Shontz. “We are excited to be named a channel partner of Textron Aviation.”

In addition to the Authorized Service Facility designation, Western Aircraft has also been named a Textron Aviation Spare Parts Reseller. The agreement includes parts for all models of aircraft designed, manufactured and marketed by Textron Aviation under the tradenames and trademark of “Beechcraft,” “Cessna,” and “Hawker” aircraft.
