WMBD News in Peoria, Illinois, just ran a news story in its “Bob and Ted’s Excellent Adventures” series featuring the only L-Bird still flying with a Brodie landing system.

    Very nice & cool as hell,

    THat L-Bird in the museam looks an awful lot like a Champ though….

      The museum piece is a L-16 (Military Champ). The video is about a L-4 (Military Cub). And GA News managed to label it as a L-19 Bird Dog (Military Cessna). Hey, but they did paint them all green.
