Applications open for EAA scholarships

By General Aviation News Staff · October 5, 2025 · Leave a Comment

EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wisconsin — Applications are now being accepted for the 2025-26 cycle of EAA Aviation Foundation scholarships.

The deadline to apply is Dec. 19, 2025, with the scholarships awarded on March 2, 2026.

Scholarships can help students cover the cost of flight training or post-secondary education, according to EAA officials.

For flight training, this can cover costs associated with a glider license, private pilot’s certificate, sport pilot certificate, flight ratings, and endorsements.

Post-secondary scholarships can be applied to tuition costs at colleges, universities, or trade schools, for majors such as aviation management, aerospace engineering, airframe and powerplant (A&P) maintenance, and more.

With the help of donors, the EAA Aviation Foundation awarded scholarships to 84 students in 2025.

“Scholarships are the key to many students being able to turn their passion into a career,” said Rebecca Greskoviak, Scholarship and Fund Stewardship Coordinator. “Our goal is to remove the financial barriers to entry, to ensure that all students, regardless of financial background, have the ability to pursue their dreams in aviation.”

Scholarships are available to students aged 16 and up. Students must reach age 16 by the time of awarding, March 2, 2026.
