After eight years as president and CEO of Textron Aviation, Ron Draper has announced his retirement.
His successor, Brian Rohloff, will become president and CEO Aug. 31, 2026. Draper will remain with the company through the end of the year as a senior advisor to support the leadership transition.
“Serving as president and CEO of Textron Aviation has been the greatest honor of my career,” Draper said. “What I will be most proud of is the incredible people who make this company what it is every day. Together, we’ve navigated challenges, celebrated successes, and continued advancing aviation while staying true to our commitment to our customers, communities, and each other. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of this team, and I have tremendous confidence in Brian and the future of Textron Aviation.”
Rohloff has held leadership positions at Textron Aviation spanning customer support, sales, supply chain, and quality. Most recently, he served as senior vice president, Customer Support, where he led Textron Aviation’s global customer support operations. Previous roles include vice president, Quality; vice president, Sales; senior product director for the Citation XLS+ and Citation X; and director of Paint Operations. He is a graduate of Wichita State University.
His appointment “reflects a deliberate succession plan designed to ensure continuity,” according to company officials.
