The Museum of Flight in Seattle will host a series of Veterans Day programs on Nov. 11, 2026, featuring documentary screenings, live music, and historical presentations, with free admission offered to all military veterans.
Activities begin at 11 a.m. with the Seattle premiere of “10 Good Men,” a documentary detailing the combat experiences of 10 World War II veterans who flew the B-17 Flying Fortress. The film features museum volunteer and World War II veteran Dick Nelms. Director Trent “TJ” Jones will lead an audience question-and-answer session following the screening.
The Boeing Employees’ Concert Band will perform a selection of patriotic music at 1 p.m.
At 2 p.m., author Betty “BJ” Prior will share stories of service members from the Vietnam War. Prior served as a flight attendant on missions with the Military Air Command (MAC) between 1969 and 1971. She will sign copies of her book, “Behind My Wings: Untold Stories of Vietnam Vets,” following the presentation.
All programs are included with standard museum admission and are free to veterans on Nov. 11. The museum is adjacent to King County International Airport (KBFI) in Seattle.
