One step closer to developing Skyway Range in Oklahoma

Skyway Range is a flight test facility that connects Oklahoma State University’s Unmanned Aircraft Flight Station — currently OAIRE’S primary unmanned aerial systems (UAS) flight test facility — with the Osage Nation Skyway36 Droneport, and eventually link to downtown Tulsa. This corridor will be unique in both its breadth but also in its proximity to an urban center, according to officials.

$66 million for airport improvements

Missouri community college to establish flight training program at KCOU

The new aviation training program will be a college-accredited FAA-certified flight school. Graduates of the program will earn an Associate in Applied Science degree, along with all their certificates and ratings through CFI.

CAP expands fleet

The Civil Air Patrol, the world’s largest Cessna piston aircraft operator, has added four Cessna Skyhawks, one Cessna Skylane, and one Cessna Turbo Stationair H to its fleet of almost 550 Cessna aircraft.
